The process of entering the civil service takes place in several stages, united in the concept of competition. If open vacant positions appear in a state body, then competitive selection of candidates is carried out.

Information about the vacant posts is posted on the Internet resources of the state bodies that announced the competition, and the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs (ADGS). Publication of announcements is also permitted in periodicals.
